This is where I give my opinions on movies, music, and whatever else I choose.
Remember, these are just my opinions. My reviews are subject to my mood... as is much in life. So, take them as they are: my opinions - nothing more, nothing less. Feel free to comment, agree, disagree...
At this time, I won't post pictures from movies/covers because I am unsure of copywrite laws and do not wish to violate them.

Movie – {Proof} 4 stars Except for the language, I did really enjoy this movie. I didn’t think I would because it was so difficult for me to rent. It took several tries before it was actually “in”. Usually when that happens, the movie is so built up in my mind I don’t enjoy it. Not so with this one. I would say it’s more of an intellectual movie. A brilliant yet crazy mathematician’s daughter struggles with questions about with her own sanity. I know, that really doesn’t sound too interesting, does it? You have to be in the right mood for this kind of movie. KFR (Kid Friendly Rating): No This movie is a little deep for a young mind. I also have an issue with foul language. So, if you are an adult, looking for a deep-ish movie, and can overlook some naughty words, I recommend this {Proof}.
Movie- The Legend of Zorro Rated PG 3 Stars This is a good compromise movie. It has something for everyone. Antonio Banderas with his wonderful brown eyes and Catherine Zeta-Jones that many men find attractive. Men get to see things blown up. Women get to see Zorro. There is also the underlying story of their relationship and family. Maybe it is more than an “underlying story”. I would watch the movie again. And, I probably will if my husband or son wants to watch it. CFR (Child Friendly Rating): Older kids I would let my son watch this movie but not my daughter. There is some language, but it is minimal. There is violence, but you do not see the gore. There is drinking and pipe smoking, but no “drugs”. There is nudity, but we do not “see” anything and it is non-sexual. This movie is not really geared towards children, but in my opinion I think it would be okay for an older child to watch this movie if they were interested in it. And as with all movies, there is so much you could talk about afterwards… Spying, Alcohol, Civil War, Family Issues, Secrets, and the list goes on.
My Opinion on Opinions I have found that movies tend to be the most effected by expectations. If you hear a movie is good, you have higher expectations. If you hear a movie is not good, you have lower expectations. If you’ve not heard a thing about a movie, you go into it with no expectations. Now, although that seem obvious, it is surprising how people do not actually realize this. I think it is a direct result of why I may enjoy a movie that another person didn’t like as much when other times, we have the same opinions. There are times that I will even say “Oh, it was okay” to a movie that truly enjoyed simply because I want the person who is going to watch it to enjoy it more. However, I will give my true feeling and thoughts on movies here. At least, they are my feelings and thoughts at the time of typing. Standard 5 star rating. 0 – Blah! 1- I didn’t like it. At all 2- Not bad, but not good. 3-I kind of liked it. 4- Pretty good. I’d sit through it again. 5- Very Good Movie. … That’s a Probably-What-I-Mean-Guide to my movie rating. Child Friendly Rating (CFR) Guide: None – The movie probably contains the F-word or some really steamy scenes. Older – This movie is probably okay for older children. It may still contain some language, innuendos, or very mild adult humor/nudity. Most– Not for the very young, but probably okay for some little ones (say, 6 and up) Yes – This probably has no foul language or nudity. It is, in my opinion, okay for any age. **This guide is subject to change, because, well, it’s only a guide**
